Community Advisory Board

The Wichita Advisory Board (WAB) at The Beacon isn’t just any group – it’s a dedicated assembly of community member volunteers keen on ensuring our journalism is not only top-notch but also deeply resonant with the diverse voices of our community. But they don’t stop at advising.

WAB members play a pivotal role in ensuring that community feedback permeates every level of our organization. While their primary role is to counsel the executive leadership team, the ripple effect of their input touches all corners of The Beacon, ensuring that community voices are not just heard, but actively shape our journalism’s direction and focus.
