The Wichita Journalism Collaborative is an alliance of 11 media organizations and community groups formed to support and enhance quality local journalism. In addition to The Wichita Beacon, the collaborative includes: The Active Age, The Community Voice, The Journal (Kansas Leadership Center), KMUW, KSN-TV, The Sunflower, The Wichita Eagle, the Wichita Public Library, Planeta Venus and The Elliott School of Communication at Wichita State University.
